Abstract In this study, we investigated the impact of extracurricular activities (ECAs) on students' social skills by conducting a "surgery" of 5 different students' daily routines. We observed and recorded their participation in ECAs, including sports, music, and clubs, during the 2023 academic year. Our research material comprised 5 case studies, each representing a unique student profile. We analyzed significant parameters such as time management, social interactions, and conflict resolution skills. Our findings showed that Student-I demonstrated maximum time management skills, while Student-II exhibited exceptional social interaction skills. Student-III showed significant improvements in conflict resolution skills, while Student-IV and Student-V demonstrated excellent teamwork skills. Our results suggest that ECAs have a profound impact on students' social skills, and we recommend that educators and policymakers promote ECAs in school curricula.
